Well done Boss, I am a long way off that, :rotfl:I am pretty pleased with 3, I wont ever get past 5 days as I enjoy my wine at weekends & until this week, wine through the week as well. 5 more until 100 days, wow....some achievement :T

Thanks. The thing is it is easier when you HAVE to do it. I couldn't give up chocolate, pizza etc but I knew someone who had a heart attack and will never touch anything like that again. I needed to give my kidneys and liver a nice long break and they are going to get another month to recover. I wish my OH would drink less than she does but unfortunately cannot persuade her.

Today is a new day Gien, don't beat yourself up over it. I just had a few weeks like that. If I could have a drink every night & stop at 1 glass then I would be ecstatic, problem is I can never hit the stop button, I get tooooo greedy & will drink anything in site :rotfl:(except the 5.5% wine thats been in my fridge a week) :rotfl:

    JULY 2013

    SET YOUR Target_logo.jpg

    Everyone Welcome.

Please put me down for my usual target of 10 Shaggy.

I'm back from my holidays and although no AF days to report I have been very restrained compared to holidays in the past. Three G&Ts most days and [STRIKE]no wine[/STRIKE] as wine in Turkey is carp IMO. Just remembered I did have a few glasses of rose over the two weeks.:o

Have a great time on your hols too Shaggy.

Haven't caught up with news yet but :wave:to everyone.

    1 AFD for July please.

Two non-AF days for me. I decided when I signed up on this thread that I would be honest with myself and on this forum. I'm still on target for the month so long as I do two on two off - so long one of those two off is actually a three! That's why I set myself a realistic target.

I have to say that I love the non-judgmental tone of this thread. I haven't read every page, but none of the posts I've read has berated someone for not making their target, or for drinking. I only mention this because years ago I was posting on an AOL (yeah, I should know better) board and said that although I was a couple of weeks AF I was going to my best friend's wedding and planned to have a couple (or more) drinks. The fallout I got from that one post was unbelievable.

Anyway - thank you all for having me - and I hope that as many of us as possible can reach our targets this month.

    Morning :hello:

I didn't start my holidays with a drink so 1 more AFD and 5 for the SNC please and thank you Gien.

If I don't get to pop in later - I'm going to be watching the men's semis this afternoon bth_1sm465tennis.gif- keep those AFDs coming and I will pick them all up when I get back from holiday in 2 weeks.

    Happy Friday beach.gif

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
