Absolutely mint 2007 MK3 Mondeo and plenty of change?
CLK for under £4000 will it have more than 200,000 miles?
They can be had for £3000 but do you know enough about cars to know what to look for and not end up with something that will need a £3000 service.
Even small items can empty your pockets very quickly.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

what's the point from mondeo?
I can fix pretty much everything myself on a car and you can have clean & OK Mile example of clk for 3.5k0 -
Best car you can get for £3000 - £4000 to me is a Mondeo. Thats the point.
It could be a high miles MK4 but personally i would buy a mint MK3 and have plenty of cash left over.
Buying a CLK for that money it would have to be from a one owner Doctor or Managing Director or similar with a full MB service history.
If you can fix everything yourself then no worries, Buy the 1st one you see.
Replacing the radiator and torque converter and gearbox wont be a problem.
What car said it all "Build quality is not that great, Trim often comes loose"
"The days of the legendary high Mercedes quality are long gone, and CLK owners appear to experience a number of problems."
Something to expect from an old £500 citroen or fiat, Not a modern car costing lots more.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
