Ooh, my weekend took an even more exciting turn last night when I had to play "Find the Banana" - believe me, it's not as it sounds people:rotfl:I gave LO a banana which he did not eat , decided to hide it instead, he's so considerate in devising games for mummy to play when she has lots to do!Finally found it in laundry basket.Such fun! Not! Have a great wekend everyone- whatever you do.0

Hi Almo,
You've had some good advice and thank you for posting such an interesting thread. We are also a childless couple who are trying to be somewhat frugal:
* nice cooked brekkie - less greasy (and cheaper) than a caff and nice to take the time at home together to sit and eat and chat
* craft/hobbies etc - we don't share all our hobbies but take an interest in each other's hobbies and try to help
* read books (libraries are your friend - along with netflics or love film for a quiet couple time watching movies in comfy seats with supermarket popcorn)
* supermarket shop - look at late evening bargains
* read all the posters in the library, local paper, shop windows etc to find events like firework displays, craft fairs, car boots etc
* get that bargain buzz from a bit of charity shopping
Great for Christmas gifts etc.
