Air New Zealand?

Hi all,
Has anyone has ever travelled with Air NZ? I've found some cheap flights to LA with them (through eBookers) but have no experience of flying with them.
They are considerably cheaper than the other airlines and £280 for a direct return flight is a bargain! I'm just wondering if this is because they are not as popular/have worse service than the other airlines...
Any opinions would be great, thanks!

No, they are great, one of the worlds best carriers. Maybe they are cheap as they fill from LA to Auckland, and have plenty of space from London to LA. If I had the option, i'd choose either them or Virgin.
If they fit your budget and your timeframe, have no fears, get in there and book!0 -
Fantastic! That's great to know, thank you. Looks like the best deal then

Air New Zealand really is one of the world's best airlines and have won several awards - their food and wine is particularly good! Would always recommend them.0

They are fab. Flew to NZ Nov 2005 with OH and then 15 month old...excellent service throughout. We had a refulling stopover in LA.
The reason it's probably so cheap is because LA/AUK leg was full both ways. LON/LA leg we had about 4 seats per passenger!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I flew with them last year and the service was poor. Seems like I was unlucky.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

When i did my RTW trip a few years back most of the travelling was done on Air NZ and they were pretty good, i'd have no problem using them again.0
