Bit of a random thread, but just changed kiddies beds, and after only 6 months, their duvets have gone mis-shapen, looks like I'm going to have to get some more at the weekend. This is the third time this has happened, and these ones weren't cheap.
Can anyone recommend a good duvet. I have alway used summer tog ones for them, and built up layers for warmth in winter. Not sure if it is because they are thinner that they are going out of shape. Both of my kiddies are wrigglers in be which doesn't help!
Thanks in advance!

The trick is to look at the duvets and see the sewing.
Panels sewn in squares are best because the filling can't get out of the 'square'make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Put single duvets into double covers, then tuck those covers right in at each side! My DS is a proper wriggler, and I've got his cot bed sized duvet inside a single cover on, laid sideways over the cotbed and tucked in a couple of feet on each side. The duvet moves less inside the cover this way, I find, and seems to be holding up well for a cheapy. They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0

Our Sainsburys ones have held up well, esp considering they get washed quite a lot! My younger son has a few sensory problems so likes a heavy duvet squashing himall year round. :-)0

Tuck duvet covers in? How do you then manage to stick out a temperature-regulating foot?
Even our little boy has developed the habit!

We have the primark duvets, they are great quality and wash very well. I think a single is normally around £6 or £8.0

We have cheap summer weight ones (which invariably get kicked off) and Ikea winter weight ones. They are lovely.0
