    Hi yes mainly happens to TV but the other day it was happening to my laptop as well - it kept having lines appearing so I switched it off. The laptop is fine it's just a nuisance for the lines to be appearing.

    I suppose I've only really noticed just lately since I've been off work due to the snow and then having the flu.

    I will track times etc. thanks

    a fault (video card/connector/screen) on the laptop could result in wavy lines. video it next time it happens.

    As Closed says, doubtful that a randon RF signal interferes.

    But there are many other cases of RF radiation, now defunct, due to the digital system. YAY A step back in time, either a good signal, or no signal.

    The RF radiation, was related to car alarms vs automatic doors of super markets, as the frequencies clashes, not the same. (Due to atmospheric pressure etc..lots of technical stuff);

    And also illegal devices; like phone scanner/transmitters, police receivers, so the Government sold off those frequencies, to be used for broadband/mobile. WHAT A SCAM!
  • 60% of the LED spotlights on sale despite being CE marked emit so much radio interference that they can jam your radio - DAB or FM equally badly. The effect radiates over 5 metres from the lamp with 12v MR11 types so even your neighbour could shut off your radio 4 reception. Check out the Which? site for led-bulb-radio-interference-dab-test. I've tried replacing my 9 kitchen lights twice, and sent the lamps back for a refund, as they completely stopped me listening to the radio. I tried some Chinese made ones from Amazon marketplace and some "British" ones from BeamLED, both failed.
