In my experience they are a bunch of clowns, they look under the bonnet plug their computers into the car and then call a tow truck.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Thanks for the suggestion paddedjohn. In their defence though, I have only ever been towed once and had cars fixed on several occasions.
I have sought prices for temp cover and it would appear that I can get 24 hour cover for about £20. My own insurance company has a minimum period of 28 days and will charge £35 admin plus the cost of 1 months insurance, so think I wil give that a miss!

Are you seriously suggesting the OP commits fraud just to save £20 or so?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0
