I've been wanting to start Ebaying again but just can't seem to find the motivation with the fees (and fees on postage!) being so high now...

The fees are really high. I try to sell some bits on FB too which is great as nice to keep ALL my money! I find some items sell better on eb@y though.

On that note, I have had a good clearing out day today. Between fb and eb@y have had about £26 after all fees. This is on top of the £40 yesterday! I have also requested withdrawal of £co money - around £12 so should be up to my next £100 target by end of the week hopefully.

Yet another busy month has meant limited time to post but here's my month end/start update.

Ended month extremely tightly but all bills paid, necessary purchases made (uniform etc.) and with a lower mortgage- all headed in the right direction then despite the small steps.

July targets were hit all round (eb@y helped with this!).

Targets for July

£49.28 to mortgage (standard OP already paid)
£100.00 back to kids b/a
£100.00 to family loan repayment pot

August targets

£60.97 to mortgage (plus standard OP)
£350.00 back to kids b/a
family loan repayment I have transferred over £1k but I may have to dip in to this before the end of the month so won't post final figure yet.

Will have school shoes and a few sports bits to purchase when we get back from holiday but I may put this in September's budget as wages will have been paid by then.

Signature now updated. Having a look at our monthly interest on the mortgage, August will be the first month that it drops below £400 a month which is especially exciting as it's 31 days!

Things have been pretty busy over the last two months so thought I'd pop in for a catch up.

I've updated my signature and totals so all up to date.

Current mortgage total £254380.00
Total OP for 2015 so far £2915.46

Things are looking very tight for this month. A couple of big yearly bills gone out already this month. Don't have a huge amount left to pay but we are almost into our OD. OD costs were still cheaper than putting the bills on the CC (both had charges for paying by CC) and will be cleared by end of October so whilst it's horrible being almost in minus figures so close to the start of the month, it's the right thing to do in terms of the cheapest way to borrow for the short term.

So the plan is to keep the OD to a minimum. Our biggest variable cost is always groceries so I've planned meals for the entire month to try to prevent any overspend.

Almost a NSD today apart from food delivery. Ordered what was needed for about 8 days based on my monthly mealplan. Came to just under £70 but a couple of items not delivered as unavailable so will pop to get these tomorrow. This includes quite a few things needed for later in the month too so quite good considering we usually spend £100-£120 per week.

Quite a productive day today. Tidied the whole house, hoovered through. Batch cooked bolognese ready for tomorrow and 3 other dinners. Washing and ironing done. Also did some eb@y listing.

I've finally hit the £40 payout on 1poll today. Can take up to 28 days to hit my bank account so this towards next month's OP. Not sure whether I'll bother starting again on this as it is quite time consuming for the level of reward.
