Lovely day today. Spent most of day out with DH and the kids. Only £8 spent so really rather reasonable. Budget is tight for June though so NSDs will be required to stay on track.

    Motivational figure

Just calculated that with current mortgage balance plus just making my standard £134.54 monthly OP for the rest of the mortgage term, will take to me September 2034 finishing date :j

Standing order went out today for standard monthly OP £134.54. Rounded balance down with further OP of £15.25.

    Mortgage now stands at £258,550.00

...And my spreadsheet tells me that these OP's move mortgage free date from September 2034 forward into August 2034; one more step in the right direction.

    Hi Angela

Not much to report here. I made all our OPs very early this month and not much to report since. We've been over budget in some areas this month but under in others so as long as spends are kept to a minimum until payday all should be fine. DH's pay is on the low side for June so some careful budgeting will be required.

I've been doing a little decluttering via eB@y and fb and just stashing the cash to one side. Once this builds a little I will pop to the bank and make good use of it.

£11.52 transferred over to the family loan repayment pot today just to tidy up the expenses account.

I have approx £100 'spare' currently to see us through but haven't much food in and have a could of small purchases to clear on the household account. Also have a birthday present to buy for family.

In good news though managed to nab some Burts B33z bits as per Martin's email last week. Have allocated for various gifts later in the year. I also bought some super nice luxury mincemeat in Mr T today when popping to PO. Less than 40p a jar and dated Jul 17 expiry so already thinking of Christmas

Glad to hear you are still plugging away. Well done on all the selling etc. you are doing so well. We all have rubbish months - all our oldies in the family who don't live nearby, had issues. DH was up and down the motorways to sort things out, just got a speeding ticket through the post for his efforts! Grrrr. Who was out at 7.35 on a Sunday morning doing checks?? Makes you want to spit when there are thousands who don't get caught and who don't have insurance etc. However, the oldies are all back on form again so that is good.
Have a good rest of the week and don't leave your updates too long will you?

Month of June ended ok. Within budget overall. July budget has been put together  is all that can be said about that. More a case of trying to end the month without debt rather than making much inroads into the mortgage...

Targets are small this month due to some large expenses and lower income.

    Targets for July

£49.28 to mortgage (standard OP already paid)
    £100.00 back to kids b/a
£100.00 to family loan repayment pot

This will all have to be achieved via eb@y/FB selling as budget is stretched to the max everywhere else (current in -£ in places so savings still needed!).

To stay in the positive £s, we will have to be eating out of the freezer, meal planning and planning activities to military precision.

On the plus side, I have just picked up a lovely Christmas present for under £10 (less than half-price) via :money: weekly email (N0tontheh1ghstreet sale).

Have been eb@ying like crazy. One of this month's targets hit and well on our way with the second.

    Targets for July

£49.28 to mortgage (standard OP already paid)

    £100.00 back to kids b/a
£100.00 to family loan repayment pot
