Mobile bill shock through kids in-app purchases

My child has racked up a bill of £1850.00 in a month playing FIFA soccer. Google Play have linked the game to his Mum's phone account so there is no need to put in a password, just click on 'Mobile billing'. We only found out when checking bank account. EE say it is down to Google; Google say it is up to the game supplier (EA games). None of them have consumer helplines so we are totally helpless. Does anyone know what we can do next?0

No, it was an Android phone. He has downloaded the 'free' game from Google Play.0

Hi. Not sure if it's classed as 'in-app' but my bank account got wiped out this month and I have realised it's because my kids have unknowingly been buying fifa coins on xbox. Can anyone help / advise? I'm down £600 and Microsoft are fobbing me off
Should I keep fighting or forget it?0 -
We have just discovered through noticing £200 in bit and bobs going out of our account that my 9 year old daughter has opened a PayPal account using her sisters date of birth and my bank card she has then been buying online games via origin!
I have spoken to PayPal and asked why they allowed this as her name is different to mine therefore doesn't tally with the card name they said they are not able to check this!
Any advice on how to recover any of this money as we cannot afford to be down that much or where to go next with this I am currently trying the the game site for any kind of refund.:(0 -

Tell your 9 year old that she has now had her birthday and Christmas presents in advance and only allow her access to the internet if she is supervised. Also change your debit card.0 -
Help I'm new and not sure how or where to post...
Basically I purchased 12 month Xbox live for my son from Microsoft a week later another two lots of 12 months have been purchased on the same account... I've rang Xbox to get an email saying they will not refund0 -
This thread is hilarious, I cannot believe how stupid, dumb, and brainless today's parents are. You don't give an iPad, smartphone or whatever to anyone under 18. This is why us retired folk get phones, bb dirt cheap, your kids are paying our bills, ha ha. Try teaching your kids to read and write before they are old enough to get a job. Roll on Brexit, Wrinklies rule OK!!0
