    Posting a geographical number would be more useful, as they would be included in my monthly call minutes (0800 numbers however are not free on many mobile tariffs).

    I use 0800 wizard on my android phone.
    The app dials a geographical number and then connects you to your 0800 number you want so the phone call comes out of your mobile allowance. So the call is still free.
    I also use weq4u for 0845 etc this works in the same way
