I bought salmon & wasn't offered any alternative. As I walked away, the lady behind me wanted smoked haddock & the assistant asked if she would like to try the coley.
Perhaps they're only offering it, every so many customers?0 -

Can anyone recommend which fish would go best with a tomoto-based pasta dish? I don't eat much fish but think I should start trying some more, especially if I can do so for free! Any suggestions?0

When I went up to the counter this morning, I picked up the leaflet, and then asked the man at the counter what this switch the fish campaign was. He explained and discussed the different types of fish. I asked if I could try the loch trout. He wrapped it up for me and then I bought an additional fillet. Absolutely no problems getting it.0

Our fish counter of our local store had a sign and leaflets for the promotion. The sign said to try a free sample today. All I had to do was ask the woman at the counter which fish were included (in my store, it was just the sardines, mussels, and lemon sole. So I picked the lemon sole and she wrapped it up and put a free pat of flavoured butter in too. No problems and the booklet has coupons inside too!0

I got a piece of free coley but was told I had to buy one of the big 5 so got a small fillet of haddock at £1.30, lady in front didn't want her free coley so I asked if I could have it as a treat for my cats! The fishmonger wasn't keen but I got it!!!!I like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j0

I just ate my Coley. I have to say it was delicious and I will be swapping from Cod to Coley next time, although I probably won't be getting it from Sainsburys because they are (in my opinion) overpriced.0

I got a huge piece of coley. Just had to ask, and wasn't pressured into buying anything. My in-laws were with me, and managed to get some lemon sole each. The bones in it put me off!Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250
