Anyone else seeing the jobcentre / directgov jobseekers site being flooded with adverts by these people?
It's all I can see on every page of my jobsearch - adverts placed by this company. At a time when recruitment and temp agencies are hated by most for wasting peoples time this is nothing short of an insult!

Yep. I had a quick search this morning and there was 9 pages of new 'jobs' that had gone on today(within 20 miles). Of those 9 pages (225 jobs), 95%+ were with CV Library (job warehouse only).0 -
It is stupid I mean if people wanted to find a job through CV library or agency central they would be looking on there wouldn't they? There really should be an option to only search or filter for ads put on directly by an employer.
Just having a quick look on UJM now actually really taking the pee about 90% of the jobs listed today within 5 miles of my city are CV library."It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." :T0 -
Completly agree cmw, it's all agency stuff on the Universal Job match. I stopped useing sector1 when it became only ever agency stuff.0

Well since posting this thread they've been pumping their ads onto the JC site like there is no tomorrow. I've also noticed a few others are following suit too.

It is not ALL agency stuff on there they are adverts by a third party like I have mentioned here

Yes but it makes the JC site unusable. You just can't find any real stuff on there because everything is posted by third parties for other third parties who are third parties of a third party who just wants you to sign up so they have more members than another third party.
It's reached that point of stupidity and playground behaviour.0 -
I totally agree its very frustrating! I'm searching through now and i'm on page 23 and its still just lots of rubbish!! very annoying!June Wins
