Beauty products you love &/or can't be without...

There are two products that I now can't be without:
Diorshow lash maximizer & Leichner Waterproof Conditioning Mascara.
The lash maximizer is totally brilliant. I have very sparse lashes & even when I use a volumising mascara there isn't much difference. You apply the lash maximizer to your lashes before applying mascara. After applying mascara I basically get a wow factor. You don't even need to use a decent mascara with this any mascara will do.
Leichner mascara was a random buy as I was looking for a waterproof mascara that wasn't going to break the bank. I bought this from ebay and I'm totally amazed by it. I have worn it at the gym, outside in freezing rain and snow & it hasn't budged. One issue I have is that you have to build it up unless your going for a more natural look and then it's fine.

Rimmel Vinyl lip gloss in Crystal Clear.

I've used this for years and years, on it's own, especially on holiday, over blotted lipstick , or with a slick of lipstick on top.
I have just started scraping the lipgloss out of a palette of 4 shades I barely use, using the wand of a half used Rimmel lipgloss and scooping it from the palette into the tube and giving it a good mix. No waste and more convenient when out and about!0 -
Great idea bronnie.
I don't use cosmetic lip products only lip balms. However, I am always on the hunt for good eye items, especially for the lashes. Mine are so sparse and not particularly long, so finding good products is a nightmare. Apparently I wasn't born with any eyelashes and things haven't improved since lol. Can't even wear individual false lashes as I haven't enough lashes for them to placed on.0 -
What I love
Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil. You rub it onto dry skin before lathering with a bit of water and it literally removes all makeup without the need to rub face too much. I don't cake makeup on though but even when I use more on a night out or fancy dress it works a treat.
Bobbi Brown Scrubbing Beads. Mix with fave wash and make an exfoliation to suit your needs rather than being stuck with a standard from a tube.
Bobbi Brown moisturisers and base creams.
I use Bobbi Brown makeup too and love the Shimmer Bricks (can use as eyeshadow or to give a nice glow to cheeks over blusher). Also love the brow brush and Taupe colour (I'm fair so my eyebrows are pale).
Bit of a trend with the BB stuff!
I can't live without my skincare stuff, even if just a cream and SPF.
However, the things I really miss makeup wise are:
Mascara (I use dark brown day to day to keep a more natural look and only use black if wanting a dramatic look)
Blusher - I use a rose Rimmel blusher everyday. I don't always need foundation but I always dust a bit of rose onto cheeks.
Lip tint (rose shades) - same reason as above! The cheaper the better I find with this too. I love the MeMeMe poppy one but it's been discontinued as a concession in Superdrug0 -
Cannot live without Benefit's "They're Real" mascara. Its fabulous. I used to use their BADGal Lash, but switched after I tried They're Real. I like the Diorshow mascara too, but find it really hard to get off.
Urban Decay's Naked palette is phenomenal too. How I ever coped without it I don't know!
Avon Genics Anew cream - my newest must-have. Calms my rosacea, prevents spots and since using it I've been asked for ID in two supermarkets and on a night out in town. Was told by a colleague that she thought I was only 27. I'm 40 this yearYou had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
Ooh thanks for this, I've just added They're Real and Naked2 (or basic) to my 'want list'!
I can't cope without Soap & Glory Hand food, smells gorgeous and keeps my hands nice & soft. And Bourgeois blushers in nice rosy pinks, really lift my pale complexion.0 -
Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara - it stays on ALL day and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes (and comes off easily at the end of the day). Even better, I get my DH to stock up when he travels to the States for work so it's much much cheaper and I don't feel bad at changing it regularly!0

Lovelyjoolz..I have fancied trying Benefit "They're Real" mascara, however, I was being wary because some products hype can make them disappointing.0 -
The only product I've found which I LOVE and will always buy again is Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. I think it's brilliant, good coverage without being caked on, and one bottle lasts me ages.0
