As said above, why bother asking if you know exactly what you want.
Old house, usually mean thick wall's, which does not work well with wifi signals.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
somebody above said I would need an ethernet cable from the plug to the xbox. The xbox isnt wireless so how would the plug work without a wire please?
I never said I knew exactly what I needed just that I wanted and needed a wireless adapter.0 -
does his elite look like this at the back?
the socket at the bottom on the right hand side is a network port....plug an ethernet cable into it and into homeplug as someone suggested and its easily online...
good read about how homeplugs work here.... http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/22086/pocket-lint-quick-guide-homeplug-powerline
and for what its worth....i'm in a bungalow router in the living room needed access in bedrooms walls too thick & signal rubbish, looked at homeplugs & now I run a couple off my router one for my xbox (its a new one but the wifi is rubbish) and one for my TV/Blu ray playerFriends help you move. oh my router isnt an N router so is it pointless getting a N adapter or should I get one anyway ready for when I change my router?
I dont want more plugs or wires. Its an old house with not many plug points and were already using extension cables and multiple adapters. Even with the wifi home plugs I sill still need a cable from it to the xbox.
I want a wireless adapter for the xbox hence asking which one I should get. I already know what I want and I just need to know which one.
get the N anyway.I would consider a router upgrade depending on how it runs Live0
