I think that the OP could also reasonably argue "I had a voucher that still had 3 months left on it" ;)

Any court would side with the breachee of a contract rather than the breacher.

Ah, but thats only if the OP goes down the SoGA route, and even then it's not 100% cast iron. At the moment he is going down Logitech's T&C will state
Logitech’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at Logitech’s option, (1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2) to refund the price paid

Which I read and I'm sure others read as, you get a refund of what you paid. A voucher for 50% off does not have a monetary value, if it was a gift card or voucher then yes it would, but a promotional discount code does not.

Then wouldn't it be a good idea to update the thread title?

    Not really,

    They are being meanies (subjective)
They aren't honouring the warranty as one would expect (repair/replacement)
They're taking the "blemished box" aspect into account when their blemished box product page states that you get exactly the same product and service as you would with their normal stock.

I'd say the thread title is more the deserved.

It wasn't a promotional discount code.

It was a unique 1 use discount code specifically for me to use, given to me because I had a Harmony remote fail out of warranty. It's the standard procedure to offer this.

It wasn't promotional it was given contractually, by simply awarding me the cost of purchase and not giving me a new code they have effectively taken the discount code from me.

By your terms, it means that if I paid for something with a gift voucher, I wouldn't be entitled to the gift voucher to be returned to me. I would simply RMA the headphones and not receive anything back at all.

Seeing as you wont change the title, you leave little choice...

Logitech, at https://www.logitech.co.uk have a fantastic level of customer service and honour all legal obligations they have to fulfill. The service Logitech offer reasonable customers is second to none and backs up the strong following that customers of Logitech, yes that https://www.logitech.co.uk have in the UK.

Don't fear buying from Logitech, as https://www.logitech.co.uk will ensure you are either refunded or have your product replaced with a product of a similar price to the item you purchase.

Logitech ARE NOT mean, they ARE providing in line with their warranty, but sometimes, just sometimes you can't please some people.

https://www.logitech.co.uk support and service is very good indeed.

    ;)

    And yes, I am a multi-product logitech customer. :)

Not at all. The fact Logitech give vouchers for products that fail outside warranty has no bearing on their T&C's for warranty items.
A gift voucher (If it had money on it) would be classified as money paid. Because it transfers funds from your ownership to them. JUST because you are not getting the answer you want, don't try and twist words to suit you.

Under what search terms? I still really struggle to see why you were trying to raise this thread.

If you didn't then why quote it?

    If you must:

In reality everyone knows a "blemished box" from Logitech is not a blemished box at all but just a way to unload stock and not lose brand integrity.

Sorry, but I'm sure not everybody knows this. I certainly didn't.
