Always good to get free tickets LiL! I'll hopefully be getting my £££s refunded soon .I'm almost tempted to buy more Euro's with it for our next holiday ( well, it gives me a good excuse to plan another one :D ) as the exchange rate is brilliant.
  • A satisfying weekly shop at Mr M's this morning, £12 off in vouchers, plus another £5 voucher and £4.80 worth of points towards my next voucher:D

I also picked up a new spring/autumn coat for boychild from M&$, £5 off in sales, paid with gift voucher from Christmas.....

4 weeks til sunshine, I've hung 2 skirts on the fridge in a desperate attempt to encourage weight loss inducing behaviour, as I can't afford any summer clothes.

Out tonight with girlfriends, beer and chocolate in fridge to appease OH:)

Weekly shop at Mr M's, £5 off voucher used, plus £5 worth of points plus another £5 voucher. I can't see them continuing at this rate, but it's great while it lasts

I really want a pair of fitflops to replace the ones I wore to death last year. At £60 it's ludicrous money to be spending......but I would live in them til October......

Fallen off the wagon big style, been spending frivolously over the past couple of weeks and blown my envelope system out of the water. Spent lots of summer clothes for children and myself, together with fab night out with oh. ( and some ridiculously expensive fitflops :o) Need to regroup tomorrow and assess the damage.

However, I got a fab bargain this morning at a nearby shopping outlet, £200 worth of Christy's English Heritage bed linen for £10.

having crohns flare up at moment, slowly altering my eating habits to see if I can calm things down. No alcohol for a month now, cut sugar out of tea and started freezing the bread so I cant have any sneaky sandwiches.

Still spending money, it is budgeted for but still has the ouch factor each time I use the card.

We're all kitted out for summer clothes, spent £40 via mse discount code on 3 pairs of hi-tec trainers.

All summer holidays are booked and paid for. I've splashed out £125 on a family adventure park season ticket, I figure if we get 10 trips out of it, it will be worth it. I put £15 aside each week for the kids entertainments, so aim to claw it back. First trip in the glorious sunshine today :)

We've also decided to get membership at a nearby gym, pool and spa. We've cancelled boy child's swimming lessons, which will pay for his membership. Girl child's and mine paid for in her therapy budget, so just £30pm for oh. We don't go out as a rule, so this will be our time hopefully.

We've had a great few weeks.
Firstly an amazing a holiday in The Canaries. First time abroad for the kids and it all went brilliantly.

DD has received a great new piece of equipment for her walking.

We are very fortunate and have been given a Centre Parcs voucher for a holiday for next Easter ( booked and very excited about).

Our gym membership is still being processed, so dress size loss should be in the pipeline....

And my job was made permanent this week:j

Oh, and I found out I can reserve a mortgage rate 6 months ahead of the end of our fixed rate period, so I can start looking in 5 months, hopefully the rates will still be fairly low.

    I am liking April.
  • Starting my gym/spa membership tomorrow, very excited to be having some time out with OH, our work patterns mean we should be able to go together a few times a week:)

And whilst we're investing in some 'us' time, I've taken advantage off the 20% off Groupon deals offer and bought some restaurant vouchers to use over the next few months:D

I was very restrained today, VERY tempted by the HDUK deal of hotel plus 3 family attractions for £129, to the point where I had selected dates/ hotel etc. whistfully decided not to, as we're pretty much covered for holidays/entertainments now.

Hitting the £50ks on our mortgage tomorrow:T

Week 1/52 at the gym. Been going every day and already notice a difference in my fitness. Sadly, minimal weight loss, a pound if I tiptoe and lean to one side on the scales:p

Being notoriously rubbish at remembering to send birthday cards in time, I am feeling rather organised. M@@npig have a BOGOF offer on at the moment, so I have designed, written and ordered a years worth of cards for family and friends. Okay....so my brother's will not get there in time tomorrow, but feeling rather pleased with myself:D
