Wow if anyone could help me out with one of these i would b enternally grateful. :iloveyou:

My OH has 2 kids 6 and 10 and we want to take them down to London for a wkend to watch a show etc, this would help save an absolute fortune on train tickets.

you guys are so nice :happylove

we got ours because we've recntly moved and i figured with that much of a saving it might work out better for us to use the trains rather than local bus service however first time we attempted it the train was cancelled with another due in 45 mins but which times 4 buses would have gone so we ditched the idea that day. Then we tried again this friday, again waiting 35 mins for train, then there was nobody at ticket desk and i couldn't use the railcard in the machine so when we arrived at our destination (which was only the next stop, journey time 3 min!) we exited station thru main exit where ticket bloke charged me £3.20 for the two kids and myself , personally i think that's extortianate especially when you consider the supposed 60% saving for the twins and a 30% saving for myself, (no wonder people prefer to drive than use public transport)
Not only that but because we had to exit via main entrance to pay we ended up having to walk long way round and actually added 15 mins to our journey! never again
This time next year Rodney... :D
