Avoid primus at all costs

Warning to all those considering Primus, avoid at all costs.
We thought that we had found a bargin for internet, line rental & free evening/weekend calls. Weeks ago we placed an order and after 5 hours of waiting to speak to their call centre to find out what is going on we still have no answers and no connection! Now we are battling to get our £111 (paid up front) line rental back. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM TRADING!

Relax, their average waiting time for new connection is around 5 weeks0

How many weeks is weeks ago?
BT OR are currently snowed under (no pun intended) with weather-related repairs, and new line provisions will inevitably take a back seat to this work. And we've had the Christmas/New Year holiday as well. So that 4/5 weeks could easily be 7 or 8.
Nothing to do with Primus, apart from their hopeless CS. That BTW is why they are so cheap. No free lunch, and no free laptop

If you order phone and broadband from another provider you'll wait around 8 weeks.
If you order phone and broadband from BT you'll wait around 8 days.

BT Retail get the same service (or not) from BT OR as does any other ISP. They are not allowed to prioritise other parts of the group. There are plenty of tales of woe from BTR customers waiting 6 weeks or more, although the usualcomplaint seems to be that booked appointments are not kept by OR, and the customer is never advised of any delay. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I know what you're saying, but it's not true.
I placed an order with Talk Talk on Xmas Eve. Projected install date - 7th Feb (I've since cancelled this - staying with Sky).
Out of interest I started an order online for BT Broadband on the 2nd January - the installation date I was given was 9th January. I backed out of the order at that point.0 -
This post should be banned, dont mse get comission from its sales via its links? Op I would avoid primus been honest, its cheap for a reasonDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
