Poor O2 service

I've never had a problem with getting a signal before but the past few weeks I've noticed my phone keeps saying 'no service'. If i leave it, it continues to say this no matter where I go. But, if I turn it off then on again, the signal returns.

This is getting to be a pain in the backside having to keep turning it on and off again if I want to make a call. Am I wrong in thinking this is a fault on O2's part? Anyone else experiencing the same?

It sounds more likely to be a problem with your phone.

Have a look at status.o2.co.uk to see if there are any problems in your area.

    It's a brand new iPhone 4S.
  • To be honest, I'm on Giffgaff, which uses O2 and it has been awful the past few weeks. Also some friends on )2 said their signal has been very tempremental lately as well.

What may help is if you download one of the many signal booster apps
They don't boost the signal but the do reset to the nearest mast which will save you turning it off and on etc
It's not just about the money
