Perhaps the beef that was meant to be in their burgers has found its way into the dog food, and the horse meat destined for the dog food ended up in the burgers?

It is a health issue. What food for human consumption is actually pet food?
I don't want my money back I want Tesco's to be held to account publicly.

Are you serious? Are you quite sure that could actually happen? Do you think Tesco manufactures EVERYTHING in one big Tesco-megafactory? And if you really are that concerned, why are you still shopping there?!

Aren't lots of chickens fed on fishmeal? It certainly used to be the case that chicken would taste fishy as a result.

Oh, you poor little thing. How did you manage to survive such a thing?

I've spent some time in customer services and really do try to care for the customers who have been wronged, but it's hard when the likes of you are concerned.

Sorry for stereotyping, but the people who would call with 'issues' like yours seem to just be middle-class, nothing-better-to-do types. If this is the 'problems' you face in life, you're either very lucky or sheltered.

My dear chap! Spot on. I am a middle-class nothing-better-to-do-type.
Judging by the replies I have received and the time of day of some (ahem...yours being after 1 in the morning) I feel that I'm in similar company.
