Thanks i had a look in wallis sale saw some things i wanted the assistant put the clothes by while i went to argos bought the vouchers and then went straight back to wallis and spent them. So the vouchers didn't need 24hrs activation like someone said near the start.0

I know this sounds silly, but you can mix and match these cant you? So £20 for starbucks and £20 for boots to qualify for the offer?Comping wishlist for 2017

Just make sure you tell the person on the tills about the offer, my local store didnt know about it and caused all sort of chaos as its not a automatic discount on their tills. Show them the last page of the valentines catalogue just so they know.0

In answer to a question earlier, I think the gift cards have 2year expiry on them

Which is more than can be said for some of the retailers, probably - for goodness sake spend those cards quickly!
"Julie Palmer, a partner at Begbies Traynor, said 140 retailers were on the firm's "critical watchlist" – defined as businesses that had received either a winding up petition or a county court judgment against them in excess of £5,000.
Palmer declined to identify any of the 140 under immediate threat, but said they were a mixture of well-known names and smaller retailers. "Experiences teaches us that a high proportion [on the critical list] will fall into some sort of insolvency proceedings," she said."0 -

Thank you so much to the OP for this!!
I desperately needed some new maternity clothes and had picked out a few bits in new look but heard they where having double student discount today (20% instead of usual 10%) so was holding out till today to order ..... then saw this post last night so popped to argos this morning bought £40 worth of vouchers for £30!
So ive saved an extra £10 PLUS the EXTRA £4.44 student discount - im made up!
the assistant didnt know about it so i explained and she said it was amazing offer and she would be getting some herself as it was even better than their staff discount :rotfl:0 -
