    Have your parents actually asked you to get involved in this dispute?
    Or have they just had a moan about your brother not agreeing to pay board?

    I think you need to keep out of this, it really is between your parents and your brother to resolve.

    Maybe you could have a chat to them and suggest they sit him down and explain how much it would cost for him to live on his own - rent/bills/food etc - and that they are no longer willing to subsidise him, especially as their financial circumstances will change very soon.

    But, in reality, they have to be firm (together) with him.

    You've tried and all you've got is the most stupid suggestion ever:
    When I've told him they can't afford to support him anymore, i'm told I should give them money as I earn more than him.

    Get your parents to issue him with a notice of however many weeks before kicking him out.
