BT have not put my number on WLR3-help!

I moved into a new property in Sept. Finally got a phone line last week and after much hassle and many phone calls to BT I got them to register on their system that my order is complete. However, whenever I try to get broadband from another company (e.g. plusnet) they say I am not on WLR3 system. BT say I am now on the system but my address never appears on providers lists as being connected to my phone number. Can anyone suggest what to do? BT are driving me round the bend!
