Hi just thought i would let everyone know theres a great deal at virgin at the moment for fibre broadband and landline. I just switched from sky and im getting faster Broadband and a telephone line. My package 30mb unlimited broadband and weekend called and it comes in at 19.49 for 6 months then 28.40, all I had to do was pay 25 pound deposit upfront and the change was quick, easy and i kept my landline number with no fuss. well recommended :beer: if you want the free telephone number let me know

It's only a good deal if you live in a Virgin cabled area, obviously.

Why did you need to pay £25 upfront? On their website they offer free installation. They also offer your package free for the first 6 months then £14.50 a month plus phone line rental of £14.99 = £29.49 a month. I'm assuming you agreed to a new 18 month contract. The extra £1 per month over 18 months is only £18 not the £25 you have already paid up front.
Personally, I think the least they should do is give you back your £25.
