I was made redundant in August 2012. I started claiming jobseekers and have never claimed before for any benefit. In october my 6 yr old was rushed to hospital and was there for a total of 8 days. I'll remember this for future reference; if your child is rushed to A&E then make sure you remember to take all your job application paperwork with you and find a quiet moment to apply.
