Alton Towers - How busy on a weekday?

I think during the week it's pretty quiet - it was when I went to Blackpool pleasure beach which is the same sort of scene.
I know a few people who went at the same time as each other, and this was a weekend - so I'd say that's when the busiest time will be. Bank Holiday Mondays as well.0 -
Myself and my friends always take 2 days off work in the 2nd week of September usually a tues/wed or wed/thurs to go to altons towers. 1 day in the water park, then stay at a nearby travelodge (rooms for as little as £15 at the mo) then go to the theme park the day after getting there really early!
The queues rarely exceed 10mins and are no longer than 30mins.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

There will be hardly any queues this early in the season on a weekday. In fact the place will be deserted as it is too early for school trips.0
