Have you tried turning your router off at the wall for a few seconds, and then back on? This normally gets you a new IP address and may solve the issue.

and i come on here see your post and i am amazed thank you SO MUCH it worked so now i will ring virginmedia again in the morning and tell them its them not me
i really appriciate your help your have made my week x :)
Hi happyrainbow here is a few suggestions to try hope one of these helps you

You said it worked I presume you mean the hiding your IP address worked? if so and you could get onto the IPC Media website(s) then it looks like it is a problem regarding IPC Media. first use this link http://whatismyipaddress.com/ to find what your IP address is. (If you are not sure) make a note of it then go to the link in my previous post to hide your IP address and contact IPC Media explaining you cannot get onto their websites, tell them your IP address (explain you are using a block IP address website to contact them) and ask if there is a problem with your IP address getting through to you.

Which browser are you using and is it upto date?
If you are using the one browser then try downloading another one (firefox, chrome, safari) and see if that helps?
