Thank you for your advice - now tell me, how do I disconnect the stovepipe from a waterford stanley oisin, in order to sweep a clay flue? I've tried pushing it farther up the flue but haven't been able to get it up, and can't remove the stove from the fireplace with it in.

My only alternative to sweep my flue then would be the chimney if I can't get the stove pipe out, simply because I can't remove the baffle on the inside of the stove. I believe it is warped after 1 year's use - indeed 2 of 3 of my firebars recently fell to bits.

Whats that got to do with it?
