Excuse my ignorance but whats the difference between an iphone & a smartphone ??
I want to access emails / internet in the UK & occasionally in Spain. Apart from texts & phone calls obviously !!

    iPhone is one of many smartphones.
    Unlike computers, smartphones normally cannot run different types of operating system.
    iPhones run iOS.
    Android and Windows Phone are two main other OSs .
