Not sure where in UK are you but if you are anywheer near one of Celia Hammond Branch:

They will register/see your cat if needed.
Hope it is just hairballs...0 -
I am not having a go at OP - I am just really worried for the cat and what the OP will do if the cat gets ill (touch wood it will not).
As I have 4 cats and a dog (all insured), work full time and really struggle to keep everything together financially.
Got 4 cats due for boosters soon (minimum 80 for 4 of them if we go to CH but that involves taking a whole day off work, having to ask someone for a lift there and back and having to borrow 4 cat baskets as have none at home now) - otherwise it is 40 per cat at my regular vets.
Worming, flea treatment, excess on insurance.
Pets are NOT cheap to keep.0 -

I have just seen this as have not been on the website and I refuse to be treated as if I am a bad owner!!
I pay £30 a month for pet insurance, and £20 for a pet plan which provides me with all preventative care such as boosters, flee treatment and worming.
I understand that pets are not cheap to keep, I just did not want to throw away £30 (which I do not have laying around) to take my cat to the vet when he could be coughing up a furball.
Don't just presume the worst in people, because you will often be wrong. I do not eat meat, nor buy any animal tested products because of my love for animals so do not proceed to accuse me of animal cruelty.0 -
ermmm - what?

OP, it might be worth investing in a Furminator. It's amazing how much hair comes off them which they would otherwise swallow!0

My cat well one of them has asthma. For a very long time I am ashamed to say I thought just furballs (none every came up), then I saw the video you mentioned. She now has to take a steroid tablet everyday which manages the condition.
Do not just assume its furballs.0
