My cat will just refuse to eat dry at all. She'll sit in front of a bowl full of fresh dry food straight from a new bag and MEOW very loudly begging for a bit of wet food. I've tried ignoring overnight and it doesn't work. Tinned food in winter and only pouches in summer. She won't eat the last half of a tin in summer. I've tried sealing it, refrigerating it, putting in a cold part of the house whatever but if it's a half day old in summer she'll refuse the rest of it. In winter I leave it out sealed on the counter and she'll finish it off....my kitchen is rather cool but not as cold as a fridge so it doesn't go off. Doesn't work in summer even if I remove it from fridge for half an hour before feeding it to her.

boys shouldn't have exclusively dry food anyways. Maybe just accept that he won't eat dry!

Crikey - we put down 8x 400g tins between 9 cats, so give or take 350g each per day and they still reckon they're starving. We don't keep dried food down but occasionally give them Dreamies which they all love, plus they love things like chips, crisps, curry, pizza crusts, mixed veg. I think mine are just plain greedy although none of them are overweight.

Oh, I forgot to add that they also have free access to dry food 24/7 and probably get through around 60g per day between them. Do you leave the meat down all day then? Mine struggle to even eat a 50g portion in one sitting (they share a 100g pouch) and will come back to it 3 or 4 times over the course of the morning.
