although you own the phone, it was subsidised by o2 which is why they lock them to their own networks. a sim free (unbranded and never been locked) phone would have been a lot more - often double0 -
my phone is a samsung e330, i can't find a code for that on here, does that mean there is no way of unlocking it?0

As far as I am aware, these can only be unlocked with a cable and PC- you have to flash the software with something- I looked into it and thought it was too much bother!0

edit:could this be already unlocked as i have just tried my wife T moblile sim and that seems seems fine although i did not make a call.
is there anyway to check.
the phone has been out of contract for 3 months.
I own a K750i and tried this procedure with it, then it tells me " Personalized with MNC2 ' then gives me the chance to enter a code " NCK : "
Does anybody know of there is something I can enter to unlock this phone, or if specific networks have specific codes0
