I need to unlock my Orange M5000. I've looked at the quoted link and downloaded the software. Has anyone tried this? Can it break my phone?

I notice that several people are selling unlocking software on ebay is this likely to be the same as I have just downloaded? Or to be on the safe side, should I go to a shop or market stall?

Any advice appreciated.

ive used it and i know loads of others who have
as long as your model is listed you should have no trouble (if your m5000 is under 12 months old it will be repaired under warrenty anyway)
ebay will be selling the saame s/w anyway -or a link to the forum

I have just bought this phone for a young friend of mine in Sweeden and its locked to t mobile but needs to work on vodaphone.
