Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

hi, i'm about to purchase an e900 locked to orange. Are these relatively easy to unlock if i take it to a shop? Have had a google and seen that there are some sites that say they can unlock with just the imei code and others that say this phone can't be unlocked yet.

a e900 can be unlocked by imei number, but not for free.

Hi, I have a Samsung E720 which is locked to T mobile, I want to use an Orange Sim Card on it.

Can we have http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=24779&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 mentioned in the first post. It is an unlock method for O2 Xda/T-Mobile MDA/Dopod/QTEK/Orange SPV and other HTC variant mobile phones (see website for details).

To get this to work you simply need to download the software (you must register to look at message attachments), copy the software to your phone, and run it.
