Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

Sorry for not reading the whole thread as it's 97 pages long! I can't see it on the first page so I assume it's still the case that you can't unlock a Motorola V3 for free?

Will see what Carphone Warehouse will do as they have supplied me with an o2 contract and a phone locked to Virgin!

I really want to unlock this phone.
I have tried the usual market traders and phone dealers but they seem unable to help.
I don't want to post off my phone to websites which claim to be able to help, (albeit for a rather large fee!!), as this seems very dodgy and not worth the risk of my phone never coming back.
Can anyone at MSE help PLEASE.

Dam !! If it was vodafone I could have got an unlock code for you, cant do that with orange, what area are you in, I will try and find somebody in your area who has the box required to unlock them, saves you having to send a dodgy site.
