Looking to unlock a Samsung E870. Could anyone please indicate what would be involved. Can this be done by code (one website advetises this) ? Can it be done by my local corner shop that unlocks Sony Ericcson's in a couple offi mins with cable and laptop ?

Ditto the Samsung X830, which I have read cannot be unlocked at all. Is that correct ?

There are no remote codes for your phone, you will have to take it to a pro unlocker.
