Kebab shops - advice

I never eat in takeaways because most of them are scabby and unhealthy.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

your response adds nothing to the conversation and does not specifically answer my question.0 -

We have a very good local which all our relatives choose to order from too, reputation is a must.
I always go for a chicken shish, got to be the healthiest takeaway there is. Not that i buy it for that reason-just yummy lol
We never get sauce though and add our own when it gets delivered after reading a story once about how a different kebab shop got shut down when they found some bodily fluids in the mayo!0 -
doner kebabs on holiday are tasty! But that is because you can see there are real slices of lamb on the spit, not the processed muck we have in this country.0

I have never ate in a kebab shop and I never will on trust ground. why would you when there are so many other choices available?"enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0

It was most likely unwashed salad veg that made me very ill - people sometimes die from that kind of food poisoning. Nothing to do with the fish,0 -
Let's face it, if you eat anywhere apart from your own house you cannot quarantee the cleanliness.
But that wasn't the question was it.
In my opinion (for what it's worth) I would think grilled meat in chunks would be lower fat than elephant's leg sandwich (doner). But if that's what you fancy and it's only infrequently have waht yo want.0 -
On the contrary, kebab meat has one of the worst reputations of any in the 'fast food' business.

Probably more of a danger to your health to worry about all the things the Daily Mail say are bad for you

We used to get the same in the UK. I first ate them in London in the 1970's. Went overseas and when I came back I was shocked to see what I was being served instead of good old fashioned kebab - minced skag!0
