Booting computer from USB

Hi.
Could not get into anything as Windows did not boot.
Think I have sorted it, as was in a sub menu to move the boot sequence, that did not show. Original drive had for some reason moved to the second drive. First drive was empty, 2nd the normal drive, 3rd the USB. In the original menu, it just showed DVD and then the empty drive.
Up and running now, at the moment, hope it lasts!!!!!
