Removing LPG

We have just brought a property which currently runs on LPG gas with a large tank in the garden, which is 50 percent full.

We are having mains gas connected and wondered if anyone knows how we go about getting rid of the old tank?

Any help gratefully received

Welcome to the forum.

You can also use "Search this Thread" on the right above the top post in the thread.

Basically, phone the tank's owner (which presumably is the former house owner's supplier, rather than you) and ask them to remove their property, within the next (say) 30 days.

They are most unlikely to pay for the LPG in the tank - but if it's 50% you can try!
