I like the L'Occitane shea butter stuff. It's not cheap but I find one of the tubes lasts me for ages as you don't need loads. You can get scented versions but I just like the 'plain' one, which just smells quite fresh and clean to me. I hate having slimy hands but I find this sinks in really quickly and it doesn't leave your hands sticky.

These guys aren't the cheapest but I do like their products

They tend to use organic ingredients. I love their no-scent cleanser and moisturiser. I haven't tried the hand cream, but if their other products in the no-scent range are anything to go by I'd recommend it.

I agree. I love L'occitane and it works well for me. Sons uses the hemp stuff from Bodyshop and that suits him.

Another vote for the Boots expert cream, its very good.

I also like the Body Shop Hemp handcream, only need a little amount.

Beware the Soap and Glory Hand Food - it starts off ok, but goes off really quickly (weeks not months ), smells rank and ends up drying your hands even more.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • I thought the L'Occitane one was too thick and seemed to make my hands feel gooey! Not what I expected after the reviews on it.

I'm another one who votes for the hemp protector from the bodyshop.

I quite like s&g hand food. Mine has never went off and I have one that I've had in use (the bathroom pump one) since last Jan and its still ok

I quite like the little Nivea pots of cream although they do have a strong scent

One tht you only have to use a touch of and that even OH likes to use is neutrogena hand cream it costs around £3-£4 but lasts AGES

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • I always use this:

I hate the feeling of sticky hand creams. It's very rich and a little goes a long way. I get contact dermatitis from washing my hands too much and this soothes them

That's the dogs dangly bits for hands that need a lot of protection

Even the dermatologist at the trust I worked for recommended it, even for brickies with cement hacks
  • Garnier's hand cream for extra dry hands is amazing. My hands were feeling quite bad and to the point of skin tearing open even and the skin feeling very tight.

This cream really helped. Definitely get it.
