Lets just finish the parliament and make a pub there shall we? There is a huge difference between people/friends talking in the pub and people who are really struggling in there lives and needing help.
If that is your solution than i think the government should talk about terrorism, europe, immigration and everything else in pubs too as well :T

Those subjects are/were also discussed at great lengths round the bar especially Europe and Immigration!

Meacher will NOT make anything happen. Cameron is fixated on his 'plan'. Have you not seen the latest Conservative Party PPB?

He makes it quite clear that he is in favour of reducing taxes, encouraging low paid working etc. No where does he mention where the Welfare recipients fit into all of his thinking. His prime goal is to reduce expenditure and increase capital wealth. Expenditure includes the Welfare budget along staffing costs of the civil service, health, education and the forces.
Meacher is on a hiding to nowhere, even his 'great leader' secretly agrees with the reduction of the Welfare budget and the dismantlement of part of it.

The truth of the WCA / LiMA assessment system is that 25%+ of the 'customers' are being placed in the support group, that's more than twice the 10%+ that it was in 2010-2011, but still not good enough.

What is good enough for ESA / DLA or any DWP / ATOS computer engineered ‘Logic Integrated Medical Assessment' is when the successful appeal rate of any means tested benefit is within a percentage or 3 of the WCA first time outcomes.
