There are no targets as to who will lose out, just that the qualifying criteria has been made more difficult.

    I know I'm feeding it but I can't resist. :)

Homework time for the troll I think. :D

How do YOU know the person staggering about the supermarket cause they have NO one to help them as they cant afford home delivery ..and they are parked in a blue badge bay isnt in immense physical discomfort /pain and will probably be in bed for days at a time after to recover from it !!!

    Are you medically qualified ???

Editted to add I see you have been spouting medical advice to someone you haven't even met on another thread sunnyone.

To get DLA someone will generally have been assesed by a medically trained person as having mobility issues to the point of the qualifying features of the benefit.

I am sick of people with your "well you dont look sick to me attitude"

Many people who get HRMC can wander around all day, every day without ill affects and they are certainly not staggering around but dont let the truth get in the way of your blind outrage that some disabled people can see both the wood and the trees.

Pain is a visable condition when its serious enough to change your life and then the pain is a disability, discomfort is a totally diffrent thing that can be caused by something as minor as having your shoes to tight and that cartainly isnt a disability.

Many people get DLA without supporting medical evidence, thats another reason for the changes.

Not all pain can be cured but most can be treated, in many cases it takes a variety of diffrent drugs/therapies to treat pain affectivly but many people (like me) also have to accept that they will always be in pain, that its never going to go away and it will get worse but hopefully it will be under control most of the time.

Hi Sunnyone. I couldn't have put it any better.
No doubt you will be said to be a troll next! People on this site really get heated if you don't agree with them or see that any disability is worthy of at least some benefits!
Dare say that they are exaggerating or simply not suffering at all and you get abuse thrown at you.
Does everyone in this country try to be disabled? Or maybe they see illness as a disability worthy of more benefits!

But the fact is that there are many current awards of DLA that have been given soley on the basis of the application form with no medical evidence being presented.

I had my low mobility element awarded in 2004 simply based on the DLA1 form!!

So you're saying that you realistically should not have been awarded this? Strange that you make so many noises about reassessment under PiP.......

The same with PIP; so there shouldn't be any complaints then.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
