Out of date cake

Hi Everyone - I have a jamaican ginger cake that's about 10days out of date ........... do you think it's ok to eat? I thought it would be especially as they usually have quite a long shelf life but have some doubts!!
If it looks n smells ok - would you eat it???

Oh yeah. The worst it would do would be dry out a bit, and that's cured with a dollop of custard :)

I would not hesitate to eat it! Bung it my way if you like ;)

Nothing like cutting a slice of ginger cake, put in a bowl together with some custard, and microwave for about 40 seconds. Mmmm!
