O2 contract

Options
I renewed my contract last June

There was a huge O2 outage last October time and I complained to O2
Their complaints dept got back to me by email and informed me I WASN'T in contract and that I could therefore obtains PAC code and give 30 days notice. That was November . The PAC expired and I've had offers of all sorts but I've asked for another PAC code because first expired and I was too busy in the lead up to Xmas , which I now have and am acting on.

They wouldn't just give a PAC out willynilly would they? Most of all I have it in writing in November saying I'm out of contract

If you weren't in contract in Oct, then you aren't in contract now.
However, 'wasn't in contract' is an incorrect term, as you were and remain in contract. What really matters, is whether you were/are in the minimum term of the contract.

Just call them, quote the email and see what the say. Expect to pay for the next 30 days in the best case scenario.
