Holiday Autos

Booked a car (Category B) for collection at Cape Town Airport. Tried to pick up on 2 January to be told by the rental agent (Europcar) that there was no booking....and no cars.

5 other customers that day were in the same position. Apparently Holiday Autos are "famous" for this problem.

Eventually managed to get Europcar to call Holiday Autos - who were useless. Was told to go ahead and hire a car and they would refund the charges. Told them that Europcar didn't have any cars.

Eventually, Europcar found an enormous 4x4 (Mitsubishi Triton) which, frankly, was of absolutely no use to us. Had it for 3 days and swapped by Europcar for a Polo. Have now incurred over £300 worth of charges which I will claim back from Holiday Autos.

Emails from them are written in very poor English with absolutely no understanding of the issue. Will now just issue a County Court summons.

Will never use Holiday Autos again.
