Yes, how great does this sound. T-Mobile offer this on a PAYG SIM which can be got for a few pounds. Great. Put it into your 3G phone and get fast internet on a very cheap PAYG basis by connecting your laptop to mobile and using th mobile as a modem.
I was very taken by this, but am having one problem. I can't work out how to get the phone to dial up the internet. It's a Ericsson K800i on Vodafone, unlocked, but there is no way I can see to get it to dial up o the internet other than through Vodafone's Live service.
Has anyone sussed this or does anyone know how to get my phone to dial up with the T-Mobile SIM?
Thanks!

The small print says you can't use it to connect a computer to the Internet with the £1/day offer. But I'm not sure they would know
You should have a SE CD that came with the phone that will set up dial up networking on your PC to work with the phone0 -
if i recall there is a 1gig a month limit so basicly 32megs, fine for a bit of light web surfing but if you need to grab some drivers, check out flash heavy sites or want to stream some audio/video it will eat that pretty fast0
