Hi,I just wanted to ask when entering online, do you enter from the actual site or a link from MSE or other links that promotes the competition. I ask because I read that some competitions wont accept enteries from comp sites?
As they can trace where the entry comes from

Lots of people have won ITV competitions who have entered from Competition websites and forums.

When I won with Real Deal several years ago, I think it was from my own link.

However, you can hide the link where you came from, and the following link (all information kindly provided by MSErs) explains how to do it.

With the majority of the comps stopping the online entry I'm guessing we will see less and less people win which is a shame because I love seeing people win the big comps and how much excitement it brings to everyone! Will people start doing the postal comps I wonder? The cost of stamps will soon add up though

Most of the winners came from "Dickinsons real deal" because that usually had 6 competitions a week which was often more than twice all the others put together. It has now returned and is currently web entry - occasionally they run week long competitions for a bigger prize if they start doing that again a switch to postal would not be a surprise (unlike the others which have gone postal I would still watch it anyway).


(I wouldn't do postals, if I was going to gamble with money there are better odds and bigger prizes out there than itv competitions).

I see it gave me some form of hope when people announced their winnings on here. Lets hope snail mail is not quashed sooner rather than later.
