Afternoon all, not logged on for ages, and feel really cheeky logging on today but I really need your healing vibes for my pup - when I say pup, she is actually close to 15 years old, I have had her and her sister since they were only a couple of months old. She hurt herself late last week, I don't know how but now she cannot walk, her hind quarters have collapsed, she hasn't eaten and has lost a huge amount of weight in a couple of days. Been to the Vet and he says that it may be a collapsed disc and he has put her on steriods but he has warned me that this is serious, and not looking good for her. Because of her great age I wouldn't dream of putting her through spinal surgery, so I might need to make a horrible decision. In fairness, my Vet Eamonn has given me a week, with her confined to a cage to restrict her movements and with valium and steriods to see if anything changes. I am broken hearted, her sister Holly has not left her side since we got home from the Vet, she will be lost if anything happens to Ivy, so I really need every good vibe I can get for her.

Hope everyone else is keeping warm and doing OK, I will read through the thread shortly, so hugs wherever they are wanted.
Cait, at long last signing on:rotfl:

Been to the hospital to see my nurse. Everything okay. She retires at the end of the month. I will really miss her, she has been my nurse since I was diagnosed with MS seven years ago.:(

    (((((Beth and SIL))))
((((Uolypool)))) - how is your DS getting on now?
    Cait - hope Ivy improves
    Hilstep - congrats! :)

I had a lovely afternoon. Met my friend in the main town, and we went for a nice walk around the marina and seafront. Then wandered around the local museum (it's free, so we went in for a warm!). Then we went up the tall tower to have coffee in the restaurant at the top, it has fab views :D.

Total chill out night tonight, I'm back in work tomorrow so need to be rested. HM veggie chilli in fajitas for tea, made the chilli yesterday so just needs microwaving.
