Has she only just tried it? Check out Martins consumer advice as I would say the item is not fit for purpose and has not lasted for a reasonable amount of time

  • Had another lousy night and feel totally shattered, DH thinks that it could be down to the break in.
Cold here but I haven't put the heating on, it was on all day yesterday and I am scared of the bill :( so I have just put another couple of layers on. I am actually quite cosy at the moment.
DH put some water and food out for the birds and there was a cheeky robin hopping around his feet, waiting for the mealworms :rotfl:

I have 8 loads of washing to do thanks to the kids sorting their floordrobes  so I will do it all on Friday night and DH will take it up to the launderette to dry in their big machines, he will be happy enough with his kindle and a flask of tea.:D

    Dinner tonight is cottage pie

I heard about the helicopter crash evidently it hit a crane in fog 2 people have been killed and people on the ground have been injured as well. I am so glad that DH doesn't have to go into London any more.

I also feel for all those who have lost their jobs at HMV.

Jools I hope you get the red tape sorted ((((Hugs))))

    Hi all,
been mia lately what with DH's birthday bash lasting 2 days/nights I've been bushed. Monday was spent doing loads of washing and clearing up. Y/day I had DGD2 & 3 for most of the day whilst DD2 was sorting their bedrooms out. I'm having DGD3 this after for 5hrs.
Making a beef wellington for dinner, I picked up 2 huge fillets for 1.20 each, thanks Mr. T. will do new pots & green beans to go with them.
I must must make a start on our tax returns tomorrow if I have a child free day. DH's van failed the mot last week so it's with our friendly mechanic having welding done ready to take it for another mot at 3pm. More expense.
My SiL got married on 1st December to a lovely man who was going through chemo having been told it may extend his life by 6-12 mths, sadly he died on Sunday night. My SiL was married to my late brother. :( She is coming to visit us next Tuesday.

JOOLS, hope the red tape gets sorted soon.
Hope you all are keeping warm and safe.

Morning ladies, havent posted for ages , havent really followed the thread either :o have been so poorly for the last 4 weeks or so.

Jools so sorry your having a hard time massive hugs are sent to you.
Hugs sent to everyone who would like or need one.

Have been really down lately , my beloved woofer dog passed away on the 8th of December. He had been poorly the day prior and I spoke to the vet who said to keep an eye on him and if no better the next morning to bring him in. He sadly passed away at 2 the following morning. Couldnt bear the thought of them cutting him open or pulling him round so said no to them doing a post mortem. Had him cremated seperately and got his ashes back Monday. Still very upset and am sitting here crying whilst typing this.

So so cold here . minus 2 at the min, still have frozen snow on the grass, ds3 cleared the paths as they were trecherous and also cleared the neighbours as we have a couple of elderly households near us. As there is only me at home during the day am using the fleeces and thick warm clothing instead of putting the heating on and then switching it on once the troops are home. Its lovely and cozy in the lounge , Have a lamb casserole in the slowcooker for tea, will have with dumplings and broccoli and jam roly poly with custard for pud.
Washing and drying is up to date, house looks tidy enough so can leave that till tomorrow, did give the kitchen and bathroom a quick going over earlier this morning.

No shopping for us this week or next except for fruit , veggies and milk as freezer and cupboards are chokka . Am putting any money saved in a pot and am hoping to use it to take kids on holiday later in the year.

Have also started my sistercas fund, am putting £10 a week away instead of a pound a day , early days but coming along nicely.

Thats about all for today. Hope everyone manages to stay warm and safe .:)
Paul Walker , in my dreams;)

((((Uolypool)))) I am so sorry; I remember sending Woofer some serious healing vibes in the past, so I feel I had something of a connection to him.
